Irish dancing is a great way to keep fit, develop coordination, gain confidence and promote physical and mental health – so important in the current climate. In this course we will also introduce students to aspects of culture, history and music and encourage creativity. Some of the topics we will cover include:

Introduction to Irish Dancing

  • Brief History of Irish Dance, Costumes and Music
  • The Modern Irish Dance Show
  • The Beginner’s Reel
  • Traditional Set Dance – St. Patrick’s Day
  • Irish Dance Technique

So join us from some classes to follow along and let’s have some fun!  It is expected that parents OR teachers (if completed in school) accept full responsibility to ensure the safety of their child while following Irish Dance activities.
