Work in Mathematics at Key Stage 3 broadly follows the National Curriculum for 11-14 year olds.

on a 12 week term timetable, total 36 weeks over an academic year, available
for 45 weeks
The course has 12 lessons per term and each lesson averages 50 minutes
This focuses on the four key strands of investigational work, number and algebra, shape space and measures, and data handling.
Pupils will be assessed at regular intervals, leading to an end of Key Stage level.
Pupils follow a course of study appropriate to their level of ability and end of key stage assessments will ensure they have a solid foundation for the appropriate level of study at Key Stage 4.
